We can assist you with the basics or obtaining an obedience title with your dog. We are proud to offer the American Kennel Club Puppy Star Program and the Canine Good Citizen Program. We have three levels of obedience training. Level I This is a basic course which is designed as a first introduction to obedience training from puppy to mature dog. It teaches the dog six basic commands; sit, down, stand, come, stay, and heel. Behavior issues such as jumping up, nipping, destructive chewing and house training is also covered. Food, toys, marker training, and touch is used at this level. Age Requirement: 16 weeks to adult Course Length: 4 Weeks Cost: $300
Level II Novice obedience training is for the dog who has a clear understanding of the six commands of sit, down, stand, come, stay, and heel. Training is done on lead , without food, and the dog is introduced to everyday distractions; dogs, cats, prey, people, traffic, etc. Distance control is introduced at this level as well. At the completion and successful passing of the class you will be awarded the AKC Good Citizen certificate. Prerequisite: Level I Age Requirement: 32 weeks to Adult Course Length: 4 Weeks Cost: $325
Level III This advanced program is for the dog owner who wants ultimate control. If you want the obedience of a Police Service Dog, this class is for you. You will learn to work your dog in all six commands and hand signals without a leash. A Dogtra Remote Collar is used at this level of training and is required for this class. Prerequisite: Level II Age Requirement: 6 months to adult. Course Length: 4 Weeks Cost: $300
Boarding Training Don’t have time to train your dog? We can do it for you. Three week boarding training is $1500.00. We work on behavioral issues and obedience with your dog. Basic to advance.
